Jeri Crouse, PT

President

Jeri Crouse PT, owner,director has been in private practice since 1999 at Crouse Rehab Associates. She is a 1975 graduate of Northwestern University's Physical Therapy program. Since moving to Atlanta in 1977, she has worked exclusively in out patient orthopedic rehabilitation of clients of all ages. She has hundreds of hours of continuing education in various areas of physical therapy with manual therapy, sports medicine, spine, shoulder, hip and knee being areas of focus.

Jeri became interested in Physical Therapy while still in high school as a result of her Mother's involvement as a board member of her local Easter Seal office. Jeri also has contributed volunteer efforts during her career. As a member of both the APTA and PTAG, Jeri has been involved as an elected district director, member and past chairman of the PR Committee, member of the Finance and Legislative committees for PTAG. She also served as a volunteer in the Polyclinic treating athletes from all over the world during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, and the Georgia Games.

Mentoring students and acting as a clinical instructor for several PT programs over the years has been particularly rewarding. Currently, she works with Emory University PT students during their 2nd year of clinical internships. She finds the interactions with students another way of keeping up with current concepts in PT., while guiding them in their clinical development.

When not treating patients or working administratively, Jeri enjoys hiking, gardening, and canoeing with her husband.

Pam White, PT

Pam has over 32 years experience as a therapist graduating in 1974 from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences located in Memphis, Tennessee. She has worked in a variety of practice settings primarily in Chattanooga, TN which have included home care, acute care, nursing home, multi-disciplinary pain management outpatient clinic and as the program coordinator for a continuing education delivery service. For the previous eleven years she had been working in an outpatient hospital based clinic when she relocated with her husband to Atlanta in January 2006. She joined the staff at Crouse Rehab Associates in July 2006.

She has been a member of the American Physical therapy Association (APTA) since 1974, a member of the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association (TPTA) for 26 years and is currently a member of the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia (PTAG). She is also a member of the Orthopedic Section of the APTA. She served in various elected and committee appointed positions on the District and State levels of the Tennessee Physical Therapy Association (TPTA) as well as serving as its President. She served on the APTA Finance Committee and served two terms on the Orthopedic Section's Finance Committee. She served as a Key Contact Representative for APTA's Federal Government Affairs Key Contact Program. She represented TPTA to the APTA House of Delegates 14 times and as a current member of the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia (PTAG) has recently been elected as an alternate delegate to the 2007 House of Delegates. While in Chattanooga, Pam was a clinical faculty member of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's Physical Therapy Program presenting on pain management.

She was presented the Outstanding Service Award and the Carol Likens Award from the TPTA for her extraordinary service to the professional association through chapter, district and national activities.

Pam has a particular interest in treating patients with painful spinal and extremity problems. Her continuing education over the years has been focused on learning manual techniques with sound scientific reasoning that are designed to assist in the correction of dysfunction secondary to abnormal neurodynamics and increased sympathetic tone. She also realizes the essence of quality care includes patient education with a strong emphasis on a home program.

When not treating patients she and her husband are exploring their new surroundings in Atlanta, GA.
